Pricing and what to expect
All our work starts with our standard service, at a cost of £50 for the first bike, £40 for subsequent bikes.
Drivetrain
- chain checked for wear, wiped down and lubed as required
- cassette, chainrings and jockey wheels assessed for wear
- bottom bracket assessed for play and smoothness
- gear shifting optimised where possible
- cables assessed for corrosion
- pedal bearings checked and bolts tightened
Wheels
- tyres checked for wear and pumped to correct pressure
- rims checked for wear and trueness, minor adjustment included
- spoke tension checked
- hubs checked for play and smoothness
Brakes
- brake effectiveness checked with minor adjustment included
- cables assessed for corrosion
- pads/blocks checked for wear with minor alignment included
Steering
- headset assessed for play and smoothness
- bolts tightened to recommended torque
The service generates our inspection report where we detail our recommendations for essential and non-essential work and a quote. We will then discuss this with you, including any component options, to make sure we meet your needs and expectations.
We come to your location, whether that is your home, workplace or anywhere else, at a time that suits you. If we can’t complete the work immediately, we can take the bike back to HQ and return it on completion.
We can also fix punctures and replace tyres on wheelchairs.
We serve Cheltenham, Gloucester, Tewkesbury, Newent, Evesham, Stroud, Cirencester and everywhere in between.
There is no call out charge within 15 miles of Cheltenham. Locations over 15 miles away can be served, subject to a mileage surcharge.
